A man in tweed is a man indeed!
While tartan is the universally recognized
cloth of Scotland, it is hard to name a cloth with more Scottish roots than a
good solid Tweed. Lochcarron woolen mills (the same fine weaver of our
quality tartan cloth) also weaves a line of tweed cloth for kilt jackets, vests,
and kilts!
Many kilt wearers simply do not realize
that tweed is an option for their kilts. They can be ordered in any style of
kilt listed on our main kilt page, and are priced as medium weight (13 oz)
kilts.
