Sporrans for all occasions
"Sporran" is the Gaelic word for a pouch or a purse.  The earliest styles were simple leather bags worn from the belt.  Sporrans have evolved into many different styles, from casual daily wear to full formal sporrans with silver cantles and fur fronts, to the extreme parade sporrans with long horse hair tassels.  You will find that we have sporrans to fit all of your Highland Dress needs.

NOTE:  We keep a good supply of the sporrans listed on our casual sporran page in stock.  If you are looking for a more formal style of sporran, this will usually be made for you and require extra delivery time.  Please pay attention to the delivery times indicated on the web site.  We do keep some formal and semi-formal sporrans on hand, so if you need quick delivery of any sporran please give us a call at 828-524-7472 to talk about what we have available for immediate shipping.

SPECIAL - L&M Highland has discontinued certain sporran styles and is now offering these dress sporran plates for sale while supplies last!

What our customers are saying . . .
"Just got the country sporran I ordered.  I absolutely love it!  I thought your claim that "This is simply the best and most functional daily wear sporran we have seen" would have been just a bit of hype, but it is absolutely true.  The sporran is spacious and well built as well as very attractive.  Most of the day wear sporrans I've looked at have been that stiff unyielding leather and have been so small you couldn't get a set of keys in them on a dare.  Not so this one.  I'm going to recommend this one to all and sundry.  As a happy side note, I really like the knot work dragon on the pewter fob too! In addition, the shipping was extra quick.  Thanks again."
-- Kelly Patrick Young; Washington, DC

“I do not prize the word 'cheap.' It is not a badge of honor. It is a symbol of despair. Cheap prices make for cheap goods; cheap goods make for cheap men; and cheap men make for a cheap country.” -- Wm. McKinley, 25th President of the United States, Scottish descendant.
