ARDALANISH TWEED: Woven on the Isle of Mull, this cloth uses the undyed wool of native breed sheep from Ardalanish Farm on Mull, as well as other native breed sheep from the Hebrides, Argyllshire, Glen Lyon, Stirlingshire and North Yorkshire.  A fair price is paid to the breeders for the raw wool, and the cloth is produced to organic textile standards.  The natural colors range from a charcoal, to a rich, dark brown, to lovely cream.  This ethically produced cloth literally smells like the Hebrides!

“I do not prize the word 'cheap.' It is not a badge of honor. It is a symbol of despair. Cheap prices make for cheap goods; cheap goods make for cheap men; and cheap men make for a cheap country.” -- Wm. McKinley, 25th President of the United States, Scottish descendant.
