Change the quantity in your shopping cart to order multiple yards.  Please note: our shopping cart system will allow you to place an order for fewer than 4 yards.  The minimum order for custom tartan is 4 yards of cloth.  If you input less than 4 yards, you will be billed for the balance, which must be paid before the order can be processed.

Sett Repeat: This is the size of one full repeat of the tartan pattern, and the specific sett size can be of importance to kilt makers.  We are happy to have your tartan woven at your required sett size (approximate).  The actual thread count of the tartan will be adjusted to accommodate your size requirements.  If you leave this field blank, we will follow the thread count on record with the Scottish Tartans Authority or provided by yourself.

Harris Tweed Tartan $75/yd

Harris Tweed is made from pure virgin wool produced in Scotland, spun, dyed and finished in Outer Hebrides and hand-woven by the islanders at their own homes in the Islands of Lewis , Harris, Uist, Barra and their several outlying islands known as the Outer Hebrides.  The concept of tweed kilts goes back well into the 19th century and earlier.  We are happy to have your own tartan woven in short lengths of Harris Tweed.  Due to the natural properties of Harris Tweed, each short length will be unique, with the precise color blends of the yarn differing from batch to batch.  Order your family heirloom cloth today!

“I do not prize the word 'cheap.' It is not a badge of honor. It is a symbol of despair. Cheap prices make for cheap goods; cheap goods make for cheap men; and cheap men make for a cheap country.” -- Wm. McKinley, 25th President of the United States, Scottish descendant.
