Custom Woven Tartan Cloth

If you cannot find the tartan you are looking for in any of our standard availability lists, it is possible to have the cloth woven for you. We have the following options available:

Worsted Wool, Heavy Weight (16 oz. per yard):

-single width (28" wide)

-minimum order of 4 yards required

-$65.00 per yard

-woven in Scotland by a mill with 60 years experience in tartan cloth.

-average turn-around time (not a guaranteed delivery date) of 8 to 12 weeks.

Medium weight (13 oz per yard) cloth is also available with the same specifications as above, at the same cost.  Double width tartan cloth (54" wide) can be woven in heavy or medium weight, at 65.00 per yard, with a minimum order of 30 yards.

Pure Spun Silk Material

-single width (30" wide)

-minimum order of 5 yards required

-$145.00 per yard

-woven in Scotland by a mill with 60 years experience in tartan cloth.

-average turn-around time (not a guaranteed delivery date) of 8 to 12 weeks.

In addition to the silk cloth, headsquares and sashes can be ordered in any custom tartan.  A minimum order of three headsquares (27" x 27") required, at $45.00 each.  A single sash may be ordered.  A 12" x 90" sash may be ordered for $200, or a 12" x 108" sash for $280.

With stocked, available tartans, a sample swatch can be sent ahead so that you may see a sample of the cloth.  Obviously, with custom woven tartans, no sample exists until the cloth is woven, so unfortunately we are unable to show you a sample in advance.  You can trust our years of experience dealing in tartan to ensure the correct design is provided to you.
