Carolina Tartan

The Carolina tartan was designed in 1981 by tartan specialist Peter MacDonald, and has been adopted by legislation as the official state tartan of both North Carolina (in 1991) and South Carolina (in 2002).  Located in the mountains of western North Carolina, we are proud to be able to offer items in the official "Tartan of the Carolinas."
